2026 PLANNING PRICE GUIDE
Typical Cruise Budgets
These are indicative cruise-only planning ranges for 7-night sailings, based on current 2026 published examples. Your final package can include flights from Nairobi, pre-cruise hotel nights, transfers, visas, insurance, shore excursions and onboard extras.
- 7-night Mediterranean: roughly US$700–1,600 per person for many mainstream sailings, with balcony cabins commonly around US$1,300–2,000 and suites often US$1,800–3,000+.
- 7-night Caribbean: roughly US$650–1,700 per person for mainstream sailings; premium/newer ships and holiday departures can exceed US$2,000.
- Asia: roughly US$900–2,500+ per person for a 7–10 night mainstream cruise, depending heavily on itinerary and ship.
- Africa & Indian Ocean: allow roughly US$1,200–3,500+ for a 7–10 night cruise, with expedition and luxury products much higher.
- Middle East / Arabian Gulf: roughly US$700–1,800+ for mainstream short-to-week-long itineraries, before flights and pre-cruise stays.
- Luxury / expedition: US$2,500–6,000+ per person is a realistic planning range for higher-end suites, expedition products or longer itineraries.
Examples checked: 2026 Mediterranean sailings show interior fares around US$742–1,029 on several MSC itineraries, while Royal Caribbean examples range around US$1,582–2,193 for 7 nights. Caribbean examples range from about US$685–1,521 on Royal Caribbean depending on date and ship.
